The container (1) has an opening (9) for filling and emptying, and is fastened with its back to a table etc. At least part (14) of one of its outer surfaces (10), e.g. a flap (8) has an adhesive coating (3) to form an adhesive connection with other objects (2) or surfaces (15). The connection is of sufficient strength to carry the container at least temporarily. The flap projects by 1mm over an imaginary line defined by two points, around which the flap can be folded independently. The adhesive coating permits the connection to be released and remade repeatedly without leaving any residue on the table etc. The opening can be closed, and at least one container surface has a window. The container is of transparent material, it is water proof, and consists of flexible material with a thickness of max. 5mm.
