PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of dust in a system using a floating magnetic head by eliminating easily dust sticking to the surface of a disk. SOLUTION: In a magneto-optical disk in which a magnetic field is applied by a floating magnetic head 10, recording and/or reproducing is performed in a state of non-contact with the magnetic head 10, and at least a recording layer 3 and a protection layer 6 are laminated and formed successively on a substrate 1, a lubricant layer 7 is provided on the protection layer 6. The thickness of this lubricant layer 7 is preferable to be 2-20nm. Viscosity of the lubricant constituting this lubricant layer 7 at 25°C is preferable to be 100-1,000P. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
