PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water leakage examining method for easily and surely finding water leakage points, and surely finding the water leakage at a plurality of points. SOLUTION: A position of a hot-water mat 1 in a room is detected by using a drawing or a box attacker. Positions of nails are detected from an upper part of a floor material by using a nail position detecting magnet, and the detected positions of the nails are marked. Then an earth wire 21 is connected to a MΩmeter 20, a sensor of the MΩmeter 20 is brought into contact with the marked parts to measure an insulating resistance value of all of nail positions. The parts having the lowest insulating resistance value or a part of less than a standard level are determined as the water leakage parts. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
