MASTER CYLINDER, ESPECIALLY LOW OPERATING NOISE TANDEM MASTER CYLINDER, AND BRAKE SYSTEM WITH SUCH MASTER CYLINDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-operating-noise, low-cost master cylinder.

SOLUTION: The master cylinder comprises a piston 10 with a piston shank 34 guided by a guide ring 38 fixedly mounted to the piston body, the piston 10 using a valve device arranged in the body of the piston 10 to delimit a work chamber 16 which is able to contain a pressurized brake fluid and in communication with brakes, and a supply chamber 14 placed in communication at rest with the work chamber; a supply duct 24 having a first longitudinal end connected with sealing to a brake fluid tank and a second longitudinal end 39 at the opposite end to the first end 34 facing a thrust ring 42 and allowing the supply chamber 14 to be supplied with brake fluid via a resupply duct 44; and a hydraulic damping means 48 for damping the return of the piston head to bear against the thrust ring 42.
