INDOOR TIRE DURABILITY TESTING METHOD AND TESTING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor tire durability testing method and a testing machine capable of conducting tire durability evaluation under very low temperature condition using an indoor tire durability machine. SOLUTION: The indoor tire durability testing machine is equipped with a temperature-controlled room 2 for controlling the room temperature with an air-conditioner 1. While at least a tested tire T and a drum 6 for rotating the tire T are arranged in the temperature-controlled room 2, the motor for driving the drum 6 is arranged outside the temperature-controlled room 2. Using the indoor tire durability testing machine, tire durability test is conducted under a condition that the surrounding temperature of the temperature-controlled room 2 is controlled at a prescribed temperature below 0°.
