<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the sealability of a door weather strip fitted around a car door. <P>SOLUTION: A hollow seal 22 of a door weather strip 20 comprises a first wall part extending from an upper portion of a base part 21, a second wall part 22b extending in a cabin direction from an in-cabin side surface of the base part 21 and abutted on a door frame 10, a third wall part 22c bent and extending from a part in a vicinity of a tip of the second wall part, and a curved wall part 22a to form a curved surface projecting in the direction of a door opening edge 60 of a car body. The curved wall part 22a is abutted on a bent projecting part 61, and the wall thickness of the curved wall part is set to be smaller than the wall thickness of the first wall part 22b and the third wall part 22c. Even when an error occurs in fitting the car door, and the abutting position of the bent projecting part 61 of the door opening edge 60 on a top part 22e is deviated, the curved wall part 22a can be deflected according to the bent projecting part 61, and the deviation is absorbed to ensure the sealability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
