PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible for an operator to obtain his or her desired print result not by changing the setting picture plane of a printer driver in the conventional manner but selecting the name of a printer which performs print from application software even when there are many available printers.

SOLUTION: When a user instructs the icon of a printer duplication setting tool 100, the printer duplication setting tool 100 duplicates and registers a registered printer object, and changes the already decided setting of the duplicated printer object on the basis of a preliminarily prepared setting file 200.
