PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring the bearing capacity of a steel pile, which enables the measurement of the bearing capacity per steel pipe sheet pile in the design of a steel pipe sheet pile foundation and the like. SOLUTION: The bearing capacity of each of the steel pipe sheet piles 1, which are installed in ground in a mutually joined state, is measured. One of the piles 1, which are mutually joined in the ground, and at least two of the piles 1 are arbitrarily selected so that the bearing capacity based on a loading test can be measured in the respective cases of the number of the piles 1. After that, measured values are compared with one another so that the bearing capacity of each of the piles 1 can be measured. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
