PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To spread deck plates all over beams without forgetting layings, to eliminate the need for the execution of works of a subsequent end-section deck-plate laying and reduce labor when a deck unit is set on girders, to prevent the formation of openings on a floor after the setting of the deck unit to ensure safety, and to eliminate the need for the execution of works of a horizontal net for preventing a fall and a master rope for preventing the fall. SOLUTION: The deck unit 3 is constituted by installing the deck plates 2 on the a plurality of beams 1 arranged at intervals. The deck unit 3 is hung up by mounting wire connectors to vertical plates 6a secured at the top-face end sections 1a of the beams 1. The vertical plates 6a are set up so as to be projected to the outside from the end sections of the beams, the deck plates are arranged among the beams by placing the projecting sections 7 on the top faces of the girders, and the load of the deck unit is applied temporarily on the girders until the beams and the girders are joined.
