PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat of a wheelchair preventing a person from becoming fatigued during a long-time seating and causing no pain in the back or the hip of the person. SOLUTION: The wheelchair 10 is equipped with two back frames 12 provided to the rear parts of the wheelchair 10 so as to be almost vertically extended and two side frames 11 extending forwardly in parallel. A backrest part 14 is provided between the back frames 12 and a seat part 13 is provided between the side frames. The sheets 20 provided not only to the backrest part 14 of the wheelchair but also to the seat part 13 under tension are formed of a three-dimensional mesh material. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
