The windscreen wiper system for the front window of a motor vehicle has at least one wiper with spray jets for washing fluid application and with feed pipes for the jets. The spray jets (5) and corresponding feed pipes (3) are located on both sides of the front windscreen (6) on the respective A-pillar (4) of the motor vehicle, and especially on a water catching strip installed on the A-pillar and facing the front windscreen. The spray jets and washing fluid feed pipe are integrated in the water catching strip.
