PURPOSE: A metal dome assembly structure for a portable terminal is provided to form each metal dome as one body, and to fix the metal domes into upper sides of each circular terminal formed on one side of a PCB, thereby reducing additional members and attachment processes of the metal domes. CONSTITUTION: A keypad(20) has character input keys(21) combined by passing through a body case upper surface. United metal domes(140) have dome-type projections(141) corresponding to the character input keys(21). Circular contacts(31,32) corresponding to the dome-type projections(141) are etched on one side, forming a PCB(30). The PCB(30) is inserted into a body case. The united metal domes(140) form the dome-type projections(141) with one press process. The circular contacts(31,32) of the PCB(30) are turned on/off by elastically transforming the dome-type projections(141). At least more than one available groove(142) is formed by being blocked along a circumference of the dome-type projections(141) to smoothly transform the dome-type projections(141).
