PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system of high productivity in which an original image is read by one digital copy machine and a copy of the read original image is outputted from a plurality of digital copy machines in real time. SOLUTION: In the image processing system wherein two digital copy machines 1(A) and 1(B) are mutually connected via a cable 2 to mutually transfer image data, the digital copy machine of a transmitting side outputs the image data in a raster form together with a line synchronizing signal indicating a top for the unit of a line and a clock synchronized to transfer data while forming the image on a recording paper by an image forming part, and the digital copy machine of a receiving side performs write/read of the image data received via the cable 2 to/from an image memory, starts reading after the lapse of prescribed read starting time from the start of writing and parallel carries out writing and reading in the time division manner.
