PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mammography apparatus for performing various image processing to support diagnosis of a doctor. SOLUTION: The density and luminance of an image are freely adjusted, the images are arranged side by side to be compared, and automatically the image is enlarged and highlighted to facilitate detection and determination of abnormal shading. Since photographing and output of the image are all collectively performed in a system, a basic system itself can be regarded as one modality. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
