PURPOSE: A method for automatically updating software of an Internet communication terminal is provided to confirm version information on new software from a server connected with the Internet communication terminal, and to automatically update the new software. CONSTITUTION: If an Internet communication terminal receives new version information from an Internet server(S21), the Internet communication terminal compares version information of existing software of the terminal with the received new version information(S22). If new software is received, the Internet communication terminal downloads the new software from the Internet server, and outputs a power off/on message to a terminal user(S23). After the terminal user turns off and on the Internet communication terminal, the Internet communication terminal operates with the new software by executing the new software(S24). |
