PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design method of a connecting part between a flat cable and a flat cable connection fitting durable to wiring in a small narrow location and rough wiring work.

SOLUTION: An interval Wx for piercing crimp pieces 5 into the flat cable 2 in a cross direction of a connecting plate part is determined within the width of a flat conductor 6 so that both the longitudinal tensile strength and the cross direction tensile strength required for the connecting part 13 of the flat cable 2, and that the flat cable connection fitting 1 are satisfied.
