PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation toy using a magnet, wherein a mobile body is brought into contact with a wall surface and moved while rotating. SOLUTION: The toy includes a base 11 where one or a plurality of longitudinal magnets are embedded in a horizontal or inclining direction so as to obtain the same polarity on a vertical or inclining front surface, or a plurality of small magnets 16 are embedded in line in the horizontal or inclining direction and the mobile body 10 wherein the magnet 13 whose length is shorter than that of the base part 12 of a columnar body, and is arranged in the middle part on or along the axial line of the base part. When the base part 12 of the mobile body 10 is made to abut on the front surface of the base 11, the mobile body 10 is moved, while rotating, on the front surface of the base 11 through the use of the actuation of the both magnets 13, 16.
