METHOD FOR PROTECTING DIGITAL CONTENTS COPYRIGHT USING IC CHIP

PURPOSE: A method for protecting digital contents CONSTITUTION: A contents core code to be stored in an IC chip of a contents purchaser is decided out of code information included in the digital contents. Blank contents which do not include the decided contents core code are supplied to the contents purchaser. A contents core code as to the blank contents is processed as data(including applet form) capable of being stored in the IC chip of the contents purchaser, and the data are separated and stored in the IC chip of the contents purchaser. A contents core code capable of reproducing the blank contents is obtained from the IC chip of the contents purchaser. The contents core code obtained from the IC chip of the contents purchaser is applied to the blank contents, and the original contents(or virtual contents) are outputted.
