Cutting device for plants, especially a lawn mower, comprises at least one rotating blade (4a) interacting with a fixed counter-cutting edge. The blade is curved and arranged at an angle to its axis of rotation but runs in one plane about 45, preferably a maximum of 35[deg] to the axis of rotation. The blade and/or the counter-cutting edge are each exchangeably arranged in a blade support (3a). Preferred Features: The blade and/or the counter-cutting edge are held in their blade support by a catch or snap-in connection.
