<p>A pipe coupling comprising of two independent pipe flanges (item 1) bolted together about a traditional orifice plate and gasket set (item 4). Rising stem type valves (items 3, Fig 2) are to be fixed to the periphery of each of the pipe flanges (item 1) to enable the required control of the process media. Across the two pipe flanges, and fixed directly to the periphery of each flange shall be a "Bridge" (item 2). The bridge shall be capable of having process media monitoring devices fixed directly to it (item 5). It shall also be capable of accepting and controlling, if necessary the process media via two independent process media feeds from each of the independent pipe flanges.</p> |
