PURPOSE: A service method for updating an intelligent toy using the wireless LAN(Local Area Network) is provided to offer a profit model by offering various contents services to a toy maker, a contents provider, and customers through a toy contents providing site on the Internet. CONSTITUTION: A toy buyer connects to a service hosting server(S300). The service hosting server searches and registers a basic environment of the toy, and searches and offers a contents list fit to the environment(S302). The toy buyer transmits a purchase condition to the service hosting server(S303). The service hosting server makes a contract by connecting to a server of the contents provider providing the contents fit to the purchase condition(S304). The service hosting server checks a credit state of the toy buyer and requests the price settlement. A payment management system transmits the contents and the price settlement information to the settlement system, and confirms and registers the billing information to a customer management server(S305). The contents are transmitted to the toy and the settlement price is offered to the contents provider(S310).
