PURPOSE: An apparatus for creating channelization codes is provided to minimize the usage of a memory without having an effect on data transmission by directly creating a channelization code having an arbitrary SF(Spreading Factor) and index without the necessity of a special memory. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for creating channelization codes consists of an 8-bit counter(210), a masking function output part(220), an XOR gate(230), and a mapper(240). The 8-bit counter(210) outputs a factor value according to a clock(CLK). The masking function output part(220) outputs a masking function value according to an index value(k) and a factor value outputted from the 8-bit counter(210). The XOR gate(230) executes XOR operation for the output value of the masking function output part(220). The mapper(240) outputs a mapped OVSF(Orthogonal Variable Spreading Factor) code according to the output value of the XOR gate(230). |
