PURPOSE: To provide a display device in which a deterioration in a display quality is suppressed even when irradiated with light. CONSTITUTION: The display device 30 is provided with a display media layer 2, a first electrode 10 and a second electrode 22 which are opposite to each other via the display media layer 2. The first electrode 10 has a first conductive layer 12 and a first polymer layer 14 which covers the first conductive layer 12 and comes in contact with the display media layer 2, the second electrode 22 has a second conductive layer 24 and a second polymer layer 26 which covers the second conductive layer 24 and comes in contact with the display media layer 2, the work function of at least a part of the first conductive layer 12 is different from the work function of the second conductive layer 12, and the number of benzene rings per molecular weight 100 of the first polymer layer 14 and of the second polymer layer 26 is 0.4 or smaller. |
