PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide digging technology for enabling digging even if a limit object is provided in an upper part. SOLUTION: A digging construction method is effective when there is the limit object 11 above the digging ground. In an excavator 1 digging the ground by pressing force by driving component of force of a loaded cylinder and rotation force of an earth auger device 7 by a self-running crane vehicle 2, a casing and a screw of the excavator 1 are divided from each other, and a first casing 10a on which a first coupling 12a is fixed is connected with a second casing 10b on which a second coupling 12b is fixed by a connection member 14 to dig step by step in this method and its device.
