PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sunshine shielding evaluation system which can easily evaluate the effect of a sunshade, etc., for shielding sunshine coming into a building. SOLUTION: This sunshine shielding evaluation system for evaluating the shielding effect against sunshine coming into the building is provided with; a weather database in which information about weather is stored in advance for each region, an opening member database in which characteristics of members to be attached to an opening part of the building are stored; a region condition inputting means for inputting region conditions for specifying a region in which the building is constructed; a building condition inputting means for inputting building conditions for specifying the opening part of the building and a member to be attached to the building; and calculating means for calculating the incidence amount of sunshine that is made incident indoors from the opening part and outputting the incidence amount of sunshine.
