PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chute for a belt conveyor capable of preventing a carried object from falling directly on a belt and preventing the longitudinal burst thereof even when foreign matter is mixed in the belt. SOLUTION: In this chute for the belt conveyor for guiding the fall of the carried object 3 on the belt conveyor, a sloped surface 211 and a sloped surface 212 folded along a conveying direction are formed at the lower end part of the chute 2, and guide members 213 and 221 are installed at the delivery port 25 of the chute 2. As a result, the carried object 3 and foreign matter 4 can be prevented from being fallen directly on the belt 1a. Also, since an impact of the carried object 3 and the foreign matter 4 on the belt can be reduced, the damage of the belt due to the passing of the foreign matter therethrough can be prevented.
