PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller supporter which facilitates the fine adjustment of a nip quantity between a form roller and a plate cylinder, in an offset rotary press. SOLUTION: In a connecting member 8 for contacting/detaching the forme roller 5, screws having the same thread direction but different pitches are employed at screw parts 22, 23 constituting a turnbuckle 11. Thus, the expansion quantity of the turnbuckle per rotation equals to the difference in pitches between the screw parts 22, 23. This enables the roller supporter to carry out the finer adjustment of the expansion quantity of the turnbuckle, as compared with the roller supporter which comprises a conventional turnbuckle constituted of reverse direction screws.
