<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device which properly corrects curling of a sheet material in both-surface image formation and multiple-image formation. <P>SOLUTION: The device is equipped with a driving part 57 which drives a heat roller and a pressure roller independently of each other, a setting part which sets a peripheral speed difference between the heat roller and the pressure roller, an image information detecting means 30 of detecting image information of an image formed on the sheet material, and a control part 56 which controls the driving part 57, and the control part 56 controls the driving part 57 according to the detection result of the image information detected by the image information detecting means 30 and an inputted image formation mode to rotate the heat roller and the pressure roller at the speed of revolution satisfying the peripheral speed difference set by the setting part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
