PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect with simple constitution an appearance or the like of an inspection object of which the appearance shape is complicated. SOLUTION: Cameras 5a-5e serving as five signal generating devices image-pick up the complicated shape object as the inspection object. Video signals image-picked up by the respective cameras are processed by twenty as total of signal processing parts (image processors) 70 provided with five sets using the four as one set in each of the respective cameras. The signal processing parts 70 of n number in the each set are operated ring-likely, while indicated in order, by an operation indicating part 22 via a distributor 21. Five of processed result information obtained from the five signal processing parts 70 indicated therein are processed integrally by a result summarizing part 25 to output summarily processed result information as to the inspection object.
