<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the capacity of a means for storing path information and the processing load and power consumption of a control module. <P>SOLUTION: In path search of each cell, a hand over possibility deciding section 100a makes a decision whether a cell has a high possibility of hand over or not based on the received power. Under control of a path information storage control function 100b, sixteen candidate receiving paths are selected if the possibility is high, and five kinds of element constituting path information are selected entirely for each of the sixteen selected paths and stored in a path table storage area 200a. If the possibility is low, one candidate receiving path is selected and then the timing and average receiving power are selected among five kinds of element for one selected path and stored in the path table storage area 200a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
