PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder carrying tool capable of carrying a cylinder in vertical state with easy work. SOLUTION: The cylinder carrying tool 1 comprises two metal tighteners 3a and 3b with predetermined width and predetermined length that longitudinally curves along the arc of the cylinder circumference, a connection belt 5 for connecting ends 31a and 31b of metal tighteners 3a and 3b, a buckle 9a that is provided at the other end 32a of at least either one metal tightener 3a, and a free belt 11 that is provided at the other end 32 of the other metal tightener 3b so as to be insertable into the buckle 9a. Metal hooks 13a and 13b are respectively provided on surfaces of the metal tighteners 3a and 3b, and nonslip members 15a and 15b are respectively provided on the other surfaces of the metal tighteners 3a and 3b. The cylinder carrying tool is entwined around the cylinder and fixed by the free belt 11 passing through the buckle 9a and a rope is hooked by the metal hooks 13a and 13b to carry the cylinder.
