PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propeller shaft having durability and simplified construction reducing material and machining costs without causing the twist or fall-down of rubber members during fitting an inner pipe into an outer pipe. SOLUTION: The inner pipe 3 is arranged concentrically into the outer pipe 2 with the plurality of rubber members 4 laid therebetween in a resilient condition and protecting rubber members 5, 6 for protecting these are arranged on both sides of the plurality of rubber members 4. Thus, the fall-down of the rubber members due to abrupt vibration or impact on the propeller shaft is prevented, the twist or peeling of the plurality of rubber members 4 to be pressed therein later by the first pressed-in protecting rubber member 6 is prevented, and the twist is prevented by supporting the rubber members 4 twisted by the finally pressed-in protecting rubber member 5.
