PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved dry type sprinkler head which can keep its functions even when temperature drastically changes in a setting environment. SOLUTION: A conventional dry type sprinkler head comprises an outside tube and an inside spindle. The outside tube is contracted/expanded by a drastic temperature change in a setting environment before the inside spindle is contracted/expanded. Thus the conventional sprinkler head has fear that an excess load is applied on the temperature sensitive decomposing part of the sprinkler head or a gap is formed between the valve body and the valve seat to leak out air in water supply piping. To solve the problems of the conventional sprinkler head, this adapter for dry type sprinkler head comprises a tube 10 which has a valve body 30 on one end to seal a fluid from water supply piping and a tube 10 on the other end to be connected with the sprinkler head H, and a spindle 20 whose tip end abuts on a valve V of the sprinkler head H.
