The applicator consists of a nail polish bottle (1) with cap (3) and applicator brush (6-9) on the inside. Closure profiles (2) are fastened to the bottle in the neck area, and closure studs (4) are fastened to the cap. Closure stops (15) act with locking cams (14) to secure the studs and lock the cap against unintentional opening. The counter pressure thus generated draws the compressed seal (10) into the closure profile and hydraulically seals the bottle. The closure stop acts with a stop cone (5) in the cap, and defines max. downward movement of the brush, so that the brush tip (9) is in contact with the bottom of the bottle.
