PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic life existence monitoring system in which monitoring is fully automatically performed without fail by transmitting automatic monitoring images from a plurality of spots to a remote control means, automatically measuring activity conditions of life from the images and raising a caution on the existence of the life to a great number of spots when abnormality continues longer than set time and when the abnormality continues even after external stimuli are automatically imparted. SOLUTION: The automatic life existence monitoring system is provided with functions for transmitting image data from a plurality of cameras 2 to a control computer via communication means 5 and 6, operating a differential of captured images and quantitatively converting a change amount among the images into life activity conditions, automatically starting operations of an external stimulating means 3 from "1" according to a signal instruction in order to confirm the existence in the case of abnormality such as when the life activity conditions are abnormally decreased longer than the fixed time, monitoring the change amount among the images further for fixed time, and raising the caution on the existence of the life by distributing mail and the images to a great number of spots registered in advance only when the abnormality in the activity continues.
