摘要 PURPOSE:To manufacture the ignition timing control device at low cost with a good accuracy by a method wherein either one of the leading edge point or the trailing edge point of the output voltage of an ignition timing detecting sensor is determined as the ignition timing in the ignition timing control device for an internal-combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:Upon starting, a key switch 5 is put ON by a transistor T4 for connecting an IG terminal and a st terminal. At this moment, a voltage v3 is grounded by the transistor T4, therefore, the transistor T2 is put ON only by the voltage v4 and the ignition timing coincides with the trailing edge point of the output voltage v2 of the ignition timing detecting section. During the operation of the engine, the key switch 5 is contacted with the IG terminal, the st terminal is opened, and the transistor T4 is OFF, therefore, the transistor T2 is put ON by the voltage v3 and the ignition timing coincides with the leading edge point of the output voltage v2 of the ignition timing detecting section. Thus, the ignition timing upon starting of the engine is delayed by theta degree as compared with the same during operation of the engine. According to this method, the ignition timing control device may be manufactured at a reasonable cost with good accuracy.
