<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card capable of variably modify its surface and a card system for performing the modification. <P>SOLUTION: The card system has: a communication device for exchanging data between an IC card equipped with an electronic paper and a card I/F device capable of transmitting-receiving data; a card authentication device for authenticating the card by collating authentic data in communication contents of the card received from the communication device with identification data of a card owner stored in a client/card individual identification information database; and a control data creating apparatus for creating coupled data by extracting basic data stored in a basic control database and individual data stored in an individual control database. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
