<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for blocking a dilapidated pipeline that can easily and positively block the pipeline on an attaching pipe for sewage by a plug means from the outside of the pipeline. <P>SOLUTION: The dilapidated pipeline blocking apparatus 10 is provided with the plug means 11 and an operating means 12 detachably engaged with the plug means 11. The plug means 11 is provided with a fixed clamping member 13, a movable clamping member 15 facing the fixed clamping member 13, and a blocking member 16 provided across the respective outer peripheral edge parts 18, 20 of the fixed clamping member 13 and movable clamping member 15. The operating means 12 is engaged with the plug means 11 and inserted into a prescribed position in the pipeline of the attaching pipe 2. The operating means 12 is rotationally operated on the hand side to clamp and compress the movable clamping member 15. The blocking member 16 thereby bulges in a radial direction to block the mounting pipe 2. After blocking the attaching pipe 2 with the blocking member 16, concrete or the like is filled in the attaching pipe 2 and hardened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
