<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable electronic equipment provided with a keyboard suitable for being carried with its main body. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic equipment 1 is provided with the main body 2, the keyboard 3, a cover 4, a touch panel 5 and a display screen 7. The touch panel 5 and the display screen 7 are incorporated in the main body 2. The touch panel 7 is layered on the display screen 7, and with the touch panel 5, a user can operate an input associated with information displayed on the display screen 7. A plurality of keys 9 are arranged on the keyboard 3 which is externally connected to the main body 2. The main body 2 and the keyboard 3 are mounted on the cover 4 in an attachable and detachable manner. On the keyboard 3, there are at least five key 9 rows composed of keys 9 other than a space key 9s and function keys 9f between the row with the space key 9s arranged therein and the row with the function keys 9f arranged therein. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
