<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that provides support so as to more easily install a font with a method different from a conventional one. <P>SOLUTION: A client 200 transfers to a server system 100 an ID with a font use right to which a right for install the prescribed number of font files are preallotted, an user ID for identifying the user of the client 200 and font information showing the type of an installation object font to be installed to the client 200. The server system 100 prepares a font ID for the installation object font on the basis of the ID with a font use right, the user ID and the font information and transfers the font ID to the client 200.
