<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal printing paper sheet unnecessary to use release paper sheet and a release agent and enabling the printing of a label, and a thermal printer capable of using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal printing paper sheet 10 is guided to a thermal head 71 to be printed by the thermal head 71. The printed paper sheet is drawn out by a platen roller 72 to be fed to the heat generation part 85 arranged on the downstream side of the thermal head 71 and the heat-sensitive adhesive layer provided on the rear surface 12 of the thermal printing paper sheet is activated in a desired shape by the heat generation part 85.
