摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication network system which automatically selects a communication channel and a relay route depending on the communication quality on each occasion. <P>SOLUTION: Radio terminals C, I transmit packets for notifying their existence to surrounding radio terminals. The transmission timing of each of the packets are selected so as not to be coincident with each terminal, a transmission period is set depending on a communication traffic and the speed of a change in a surrounding environment, and specifically, the period is set to be short at the time of installing a system. The terminals C, I exchange packets for diagnosing reliabilities of communication channels with terminals having the high frequency of the packet. As a result, the communication channels having reliabilities not less than a prescribed level are used as the communication channels. System configuration information is information about the relation between the number of times of communication from terminals and called terminals, and each of the terminals holds the information of the surrounding terminals having direct communication paths together with its own information. Each of the terminals holds a history of transfer/incoming call of a communication packet to deal with multiple access.
