PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking route collecting system efficiently creating a route database used in a human navigation system. SOLUTION: A current position of a mobile terminal 1 is detected by a position identifying system 4. After setting types and conditions of a walking route and directing to start the detection of a walking position by the mobile terminal 1, the walking position of a walker having the mobile terminal 1 is, in connection with the types and conditions of the walking route, stored in a sequential accumulating database 72 as a walking route. When the walker arrives at a destination and commands the mobile terminal to end the detection of a walking position, the walking route stored in the database 72 is, in connection with the types and conditions thereof, stored in a generated route database 82 with a format suitable for various human navigation systems.
