PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record even the file of a static image or the like in addition to a moving image by effectively using an information recording surface, e.g., in application to a digital versatile disk (DVD) regarding an optical disk, the recording method of an optical disk, the program thereof, and a recording medium for recording the program. SOLUTION: Extension files EF1 and EF2 and extension file information EX are recorded in a group.
