PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging box which can surely maintain a closed state of a bottom part. SOLUTION: This packaging box is equipped with a barrel part which is formed of a pair of first side wall plates 2 and 3 and a pair of second wall plates 4 and 5 in a square-tube shape. The packaging box is also equipped with a pair of first bottom plate flaps 11 and 12 which are continuously provided at the lower edges of the wall plates 2 and 3, and a pair of second bottom plate flaps 13 and 14 which are continuously provided at the lower ends of second side wall plates 4 and 5. Notches 15 and 16, which continue across the flaps 11 and 12 when tip edges of them are made to butt against each other, are provided in both the flaps 11 and 12. Insertion pieces 17 and 18, which can be freely inserted into the notches 15 and 16, are provided at the tip edges of the respective flaps 13 and 14. Locking pieces 19 and 20 for being expanded to both the sides of the insertion pieces 17 and 18 after being inserted into the notches 15 and 16 are provided on both the sides of the insertion pieces 17 and 18.
