PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an opening degree of a swing door adjustable according to the projected height of a handle at the upper part, thereby solving the problem of a conventional swing door that a large projecting handle, if mounted to a hanging rack located above the swing door, may be damaged by contact with mounting brackets attached to the swing door, although the swing door, unlike a hinged door, will not collide against a person standing in front of it because it normally moves vertically during opening and closing. SOLUTION: An upper stay and a lower stay are rotatably mounted respectively to a sidewall fixture and a door fixture. A stopper with a biased axis is rotatably mounted near and above the mounted portion of the lower stay mounted to the sidewall fixture. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
