The invention relates to an aircraft navigation assistance method. The inventive method comprises the following steps consisting in: a) defining a zone to be traced to the right and left of a first artificial aircraft path; b) tracing a corresponding pre-determined subjacent relief for each of the two zones to be traced to the right and left in order to identify the dangerous sub-zones to the right and/or left; c) for each of the dangerous sub-zones to the right and/or left, calculating the time DeltaT remaining in order to begin an evasive action before a point of no return and, for the dangerous sub-zones to the right, determining a minimum time DeltaT, referred to as right DeltaT, and/or, for the dangerous sub-zones to the left, determining a minimum time DeltaT, referred to as left DeltaT; and d) creating a navigation aid using the aforementioned right DeltaT and/or left DeltaT. |
