<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic timepiece and apparatus that can generate power by using a power generation mechanism with an oscillating weight, and also receive radio information. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided the power generation mechanism 2 having an oscillating weight 21 and a generator for converting kinetic energy generated by the rotation of the an oscillating weight 21 into electrical energy, a timer for clocking time, and a reception mechanism having an antenna 6 for receiving the radio information.
