PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television intercom device for conducting communications by radio between its interphone slave unit, using surplus of the power for lighting a lamp outside the front door, and its interphone master unit operating on the electric power from a commercial power supply. SOLUTION: Communications are conducted between an interphone slave unit 1 fixed to a gatepost 4 outside the front door and an interphone master unit 2 installed indoors. The power of the slave unit 1 is a surplus of the electric power for lighting a lamp of an illuminator 6 installed at the gatepost, out of electric power generated by a generator 5 and charged and discharged through a charger 7 accommodated in the gatepost. The power of the master unit 2 is electric power from a commercial power supply 3. When illumination outside the front door is under a predetermined level like at nighttime, lighting of the lamp of the illuminator lights the slave unit to secure the illumination, by lighting/putting out automatically the lamp according to the level of the illumination.
