PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to obtain a satisfactory binocular vision regardless of a large eyesight difference by reducing the difference in chromatic aberration of magnification between right and left lenses. SOLUTION: When right and left spectacle lenses are designed and manufactured which constitute spectacles to which different prescriptions including degrees are given for right and left eyes, standard design data of lenses for right and left lenses are generated on the basis of information of the prescriptions including degrees (step S3). Next, it it discriminated whether the difference in chromatic aberration of magnification between lenses for right and left eyes, based on standard design data is a smaller than a prescribed value or not (step S4). When the difference in chromatic aberration of magnification is not smaller than the prescribed value, a re-design data obtained by changing lens materials or the like so as to make the difference in chromatic aberration of magnification between lenses for right and left eyes smaller than the prescribed value is generated (step S5). Lenses for right and left eyes are processed on the basis of re-design data when re-design data is generated, and they are processed on the basis of standard design data when re-design data is not generated (step S7), and thus chromatic aberration balance between right and left lenses is kept within a proper range.
